Licensed Acupuncturist

Yuko Yamamoto is a National Board certified Acupuncturist with the NCCAOM and is an Illinois State Licensed Acupuncturist. She was born in Japan where she graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She volunteered as a social worker for orphans and poor women in Central America.
She married an American man and came to United States. She has two children and through her experience, she wanted to study Oriental Medicine to approach to gynecological problems.
She graduated from Midwest college of Oriental Medicine in Chicago and has attended acupuncture and moxibustion seminars in Japan.
She has a black belt in Aikido and also has a Reiki certificate.
Her interests are women’s problems such as PMS, infertility, prenatal, postpartum and menopause problems. She also treats headaches, aches and pains and insomnia. She also does cosmetic acupuncture.
